Leo is the CEO of our consolidated Australian and New Zealand operations. He is also a member of the global Group Executive Committee of Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc.
Proud to have been part of Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Australia (JLT) for over 30 years, his career has spanned many developments to our service offering since commencement in 1985, when he joined JLT to establish a specialised Local Government Division in New South Wales. Since inception, this part of our business has developed significantly under Leo’s leadership. Australia wide, we now service over 500 local government councils.
Leo has been admitted to the New South Wales Bar Association and also holds the following professional qualifications; Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker, Fellow of the National Insurance Brokers Association accreditation under the new Financial Services legislation.

André joined JLT in 2002. He is the Chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia Pty Ltd (JLT's holding company in Australia) and a member of the board of directors of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Pty Ltd (JLT's main operating company in Australia).
He is the Chair of the Acquisitions and Corporate Social Responsibility Committees and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.
Apart from his board duties, he acts as Account Chairman for major corporations and firms.
André has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of Victoria and Western Australia.
He has specialist insurance and risk management expertise in mergers and acquisitions and the legal liability of directors and professionals.

Deputy CEO and CEO, Specialty
Nick is the Deputy CEO of JLT Australia. He is also the CEO of our Specialty business, providing wholesale and retail insurance broking, risk management and claims consulting services to specific industry sectors.
Originally he joined JLT from our London office, later transferring to Australia in 2010 having gained over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry working for both insurer and broker.
Our Benefit Solutions business was established under Nick’s direction over the past decade. He has driven the development of this part of our business, to the point where we are now the largest employee benefits consultancy and people risk services provider in Australia. Most recently, he managed the acquisition of Recovre, Australia's leading provider of customised workplace health, safety, rehabilitation and training solutions.

Igor is our Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the financial function as well as its treasury, M & A, business planning and company secretarial requirements. He also has responsibility for the company's Premium Funding business.
His experience in the financial services industry spans over 16 years, having previously worked at American Express in a variety of finance leadership roles in Australia and London. The most recent of which was as Vice President and CFO of the American Express Global Merchant Services business for Asia Pacific and Australia, providing financial stewardship and strategic financial management support across nine countries. He has also held finance positions at Rio Tinto, IBM, Exel Logistics and Boral.
In addition to his qualification as a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia, Igor holds a Bachelor of Business as well as a Masters in Commerce.

Chief Operating Officer
Grant is our Chief Operating Ofﬁcer, responsible for leading business operations, executing business strategy, driving operational efﬁciencies and business transformation.
He has over 25 years’ experience in driving operational effectiveness and transformation within General and Life Insurance organisations, previously holding senior executive positions such as COO and CIO at Aon, Pillar Administration, and more recently as Head of Operational Excellence at Suncorp. In addition, he has also owned and run a business delivering Strategic Operational Excellence solutions to some of Australia’s largest Insurers.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), and a Master of Business.

Chairman of Specialty, Head of Business Development
Tony joined JLT in January 2017 as Head of Business Development.
Most recently he was CEO of Willis Towers Watson Australia. Tony began his career in the insurance sector with New Zealand Insurance in 1986. He joined Willis in 1998 and built his track record in a range of national and international leadership roles including senior client advocate, state and deputy CEO roles.

Gary has worked in various insurance and risk advisory roles throughout his career and became a Director of JLT Australia in March 2010.
Based in South Australia and having worked with insurance markets in Australia, Asia and London during a 30 year career, Gary has delivered sophisticated approaches for businesses, government and Not For Profit organisations to move from traditional insurance to a focus on risk management, self insurance and claims management.
Gary is a Board Member of the National Insurance Brokers Association and the Local Government Mutual Risk Scheme’s in South Australia. He is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker, Member of the National Insurance Brokers Association and Member of the Institute of Company Directors.

Chief Executive Officer, New Zealand
Matthew is the Chief Executive Officer of our New Zealand operations. He is responsible for the delivery of broking, risk and insurance services to our Wellington and South Island clients, as well as national management of our Public Sector business.
Matthew has over 30 years' experience in both broking and underwriting in New Zealand and London. He joined JLT New Zealand in 1991 and was appointed a Director of JLT New Zealand in 1996. Matthew also led the establishment of the Echelon claims management business in New Zealand.
Matthew oversees JLT’s growing health and injury management business in New Zealand, delivered through Wellnz and Alpha Consultants.

Bob is the head of our National Placement Division. His primary expertise concerns strategy, design and execution of insurance programs into local and international insurance markets.
He leads a dedicated and highly experienced team of placement professionals unmatched by our competitors, with the ability to work with key overseas offices and markets that are vital to the execution of best program designs and placements. Prior to this, Bob was head of placement at two of the world’s largest broking houses and is recognised as one of the insurance industry’s foremost professionals with near 40 years’ experience.
His depth of relationships with the direct and reinsurance markets, particularly in the Pacific region, offers clients superior negotiation leverage with senior insurer decision makers, delivering best placement outcomes.

CEO, Benefit Solutions
Matthew is the Managing Director of our Benefit Solutions division.
He has worked in the employee benefits sector, in insurance and broking, for over ten years, predominately in the UK. Matthew joined JLT as Head of Sales within our Benefit Solutions division, which provides consultancy and administration services across a wide range of company paid and voluntary employee benefits.
Prior to joining JLT, he was an account director at one of the largest employee benefits insurers in the UK and has particular experience in designing and building employee benefits packages for numerous national and multinational companies across a wide range of industry sectors.
Prior to working in insurance, Matthew ran a clinical physiotherapy practice and worked with many of the UK’s top sporting teams and athletes.
