Specialist risk and insurance adviser Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia (JLT) has been named Official Risk Partner of the National Basketball League.
JLT will provide insurance and risk management services to NBL clubs, under a three-year deal.
It will also sponsor an award at the NBL’s MVP Gala Dinner.
JLT Australia CEO Nick Harris said it was an exciting time to be partnering with the NBL.
“The NBL is doing a great job improving the quality and strength of basketball in Australia and New Zealand,” Mr Harris said.

Mr Harris said the partnership complements the strong work JLT is already doing with other premier sporting organisations.

The NBL set attendance records last year and the 2018/19 season is shaping up as one of the most exciting yet.
Among the drawcards is former NBA star Andrew Bogut, who has joined the Sydney Kings on a two-year deal.
NBL Owner and Executive Chairman Larry Kestelman said the partnership with JLT supported the NBL’s strategic vision to improve its product.
“This can be seen by the talent our clubs attract in the marketplace,” Mr Kestelman said.
